The loss of Mother Teresa

Notis: Det följande är en reproduktion av artiklen "The loss of Mother Teresa".

During the same week we have lost Princess Diana and Mother Teresa. Princess Diana was lost to a tragic accident at the age of 36, while mother Teresa was lost to a massive heart attack at age of 87. While both Mother Teresa and Princess Diana got together on this earth, they may not have the same chance in Heaven. Princess Diana is destined to Heaven as per the Quranic teaching, since she died before the age of responsibility (40). Mother Teresa will be questioned for every thing she did in her life. She had 47 years after reaching the age of 40 to discover that God is ONE God. No one can deny all the humanitarian work done by Mother Teresa and no one can deny her dedication to the poor and needy. All the good work she did in her life can be wiped out if she died while committing idolatry. If she died as a submitter to the ONE and ONLY God she would be destined to Heaven and rewarded for all the good work she did. If she died while insisting that Jesus is God or son of God then she committed the unforgivable sin of idol-worship. God has been teaching us in the Quran that He gives the human beings 40 years of age to makeup their minds about worshipping Him ALONE or not.

God also told us in the Quran that He would forgive all and any sin BUT committing idol-worship. In the Quran in 39:65, God is very clear, if you commit idol-worship, any good deed will be wiped out (nullified) by this unforgivable sin. Heaven is not the place of rest for those who commit idol-worship. Those who believe that Jesus is God or son of God have committed such a gross offense that is not forgiven by God. Unless they repent and ask for forgiveness and dedicate the rest of their life and their worship absolutely to the ONE and ONLY God , they may not be permitted into Heaven. Neither Jesus nor any of their good deeds will help them in the Hereafter when they face the ONE and ONLY God. God, the absolute God. The One who described Himself as "Never did He beget. Nor was He begotten. None equals Him." Quran 112. Jesus himself called on the people to worship the ONE and ONLY God, his Lord.

"you shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve." (Luke 4:8)

Jesus himself refused to be called son of God and rebuked the ones who called him so: "And devils came out of many, crying out and saying, You are the Son of God ! and he rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that he was the Christ." (Luke 4:41)

"Why do you call me good ? No one is good but one, that is God." (Mark 10:18)

"To you first, God having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to bless you..." (The acts 3:26)

"Here is my servant whom I have chosen." (Mat 12:18)

Jesus' straightforward injunction to follow the commandments in general, and the First Commandment in particular, are throughout the New Testament. Significantly, he described the First Commandment as "The Great Commandment" (Mark 12:29).

"I, the Lord, am your God Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. You shall not have any other gods besides me. You shall not carve idols for yourselves in the shape of anything in the sky above or on the earth below or in the waters beneath the earth; you shall not bow before them or worship them For I, the Lord, your God , am a jealous God. (Deut. 5:6-9)

"I cannot do anything of myself, I judge as I hear, and my judgment is honest because I am not seeking my own will but the will of HIM who sent me." (John 5:30)

"Jesus said: "My doctrine is not my own; it comes from HIM who sent me."(John 7:16)

"Men of Israel, listen to me! Jesus the Nazarean was a MAN whom God sent to you with miracles, wonders, and signs as his credentials. These God worked through him in your midst, as you well know." (Acts 2:22)

"Jesus proclaimed aloud: "Whoever puts faith in me believes not so much in me as in HIM who sent me;.....For I have not spoken on my own; no, the father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to speak. Since I know that this commandment means eternal life, whatever I say is spoken just as HE instructed me."
