"Allahu Akbar as part of Salat".
Islam (submission) was corrupted by the scholars and self proclaimed scholars
who came after the prophet Muhammed. Their corruption included every aspect
of Islam specially the rituals of Islam, Shahada, Salat (contact prayers),
Zakat (Obligatory charity), Fasting and Hajj (pilgrimage).
It was of Gods mercy that he sent us a messenger to correct these rituals
for us and show us where he corrected them from the Quran. Quran is telling
us that all the rituals of Islam were given to Abraham and were passed down
from generation to another.
"As Abraham raised the foundation of Kaaba, together with Ismail, they
prayed,'Our Lord, accept this work from us; You are the Hearer, the Omniscient.
Our Lord, and make us Muslims (Submitters) to You and from our descendants let there be a
nation of Muslims (Submitters) to you; AND TEACH US HOW TO PRACTICE
OUR RELIGIOUS DUTIES, and redeem us; You are the Redeemer,
the Merciful'" 2:127-128
Messengers of God lead the people into the straight path, from the darkness
into the light. People who come after the messengers are the ones who corrupt
any religion and lead the people back from the light into the darkness.
[57:9]
"He is the One who sends down to His servant clear revelations, in
order to lead you out of the darkness into the light. GOD is Compassionate
towards you, Most Merciful."
Now that the messenger has gone, history will repeat itself and the new scholars
and self-proclaimed scholars will start working on the new corruption.
"Surely those who SLIDE BACK, after the guidance has been manifested
to them, the devil has enticed them, and has misled them." 47:25
The numbers, the time and the way to perform the Salat prayers, we were told,
from the Quran, was passed down to us from Abraham. The messenger of the
covenant confirmed and corrected for us in addition to many other rituals,
the way, the numbers and the time we perform our Salat.
The new generation of corrupters of religion now are claiming that they only
know of three salats in the Quran and rejected the messengers assertion of
the five prayers despite the overwhelming mathematical proof and the clear
understanding of the Quranic verses.
They decided that they know it better and that Salat can be three times a
day. Others claimed that salat should be performed using only Gods
name, Al-Kabeer, instead of Allahu Akbar. They tried to find their own
explanation in the Quran after they rejected the Quranic proof given to them
by the messenger. As God promised , they got lost using the Quran. Quran
can guide and misguide. After the guidance came to them they refused it and
went after the satisfaction of their egos. They claimed that they know Arabic
better. They have not learned the lesson of the Arabs. The Arabs who mastered
the Arabic language and have the Quran for over 1400 years were the worst
losers when it came to the Quran. They claimed that the messenger corrupted
the religion and they are the ones to correct it.

Allahu Akbar and the Quran:
Those who refuse to pray using Allahu Akbar in their prayers reasoned their
decision by claiming that we need to magnify God by using a name from the
Quran and that Akbar is not a name of God in the Quran but Al-Kabeer is.
They also claim that Akbar is not a Quranic word and is comparative word,
comparing God to someone else.
Their first claim that we need to magnify God using a name from the Quran
sounds legitimate but reflects ignorance with the fact that Salat was given
to Abraham before the Quran was revealed to Muhammed. Older scriptures have
the same order to magnify God. They did not have the Quran then to select
a name from it to magnify God with. Were their magnification of God
unacceptable?!!
Did God ever limit His names to the ones in the Quran? No,
On the contrary, God is teaching us that every beautiful name belongs to
Him, being, Kabeer, Al-Kabeer, Al-Mutakabber, Akbar or Al-Akbar. His names
can be found in and out of the Quran.
Is "Akbar" a Quranicn word? Is it used for God in any matter? The answer
is yes for both, and we will explain this later.
Kabber:
The order in the Quran (2:185, 22:37, 74:3 and 17:111) is to " KABBER" (magnify
or glorify God). Had the magnification of God by saying Allahu Akbar being
wrong we would have expected the messenger who corrected every aspect of
our salat to correct it as well. To claim that he corrected everything but
Allahu Akbar is naïve and irresponsible. It would also be irresponsible
if we cannot clarify it for ourselves from the Quran
The matter is as simple as that; God orders us in the Quran to "KABBER" Him.
"KABBER" as a verb in the Arabic Language and to the native Arabic speaker
means to, say "Allahu Akbar". "Takbeerah" as a noun in the singular form
is the statement "ALLAHU AKBAR". One may claim that this meaning is acquired
from the traditional use but no one can prove it is not the right meaning
either. The messenger who purified our salat from all the idolaters traditions
and whose mother tongue was Arabic definitely accepted Allahu Akbar.
The order in 17:111, for example, to "KABBER TAKBEERA" is to say ALLAHU AKBAR.
Now to the use of the verb "KABBER" in Arabic. If you are using the verb
"KABBER" for other than religious reasons, it would mean to magnify or make
bigger. To "KABBER" anything is to make it AKBAR. You do not make it Al-Kabeer.
Since Quran is an Arabic Quran, the relationship of the verb Kabber, in relation
to God, and to its actual daily life use cannot be ignored or disregarded.
(17:111)
"And proclaim: "Praise be to GOD, who has never begotten a
son, nor does He have a partner in His kingship, nor does He need any ally
out of weakness," and MAGNIFY Him constantly (KABBER-HO TAKBEERA)."
As we know, the ritual of "Takbeer" of God is exemplified by its use in our
Salat, our Azan (call for prayers) and in our Hajj (Pilgrimage).
SOME POINTS TO KEEP IN MIND:
1- REMEMBER that: Not all the details of Salat can be found in the Quran,
When correction of a religious practice was needed, it was given by God,
CLEAR and unambiguous, see 2:187 and 5:6. God does not want to fool us. God
is very clear when it comes to religious duties. If the religion of God is
left to everyone's interpretation to correct it on his own, give it few years,
not a couple of hundred years, before any religion becomes distorted beyond
recognition.
2- Those who refuse the order in the Quran to say "ALLAHU AKBAR" try to give
the impression that the word, Akbar is NOT from the Quran, was not used for
God or even not suitable for God.
Is the word "Akbar" mentioned in the Quran? The answer is Yes, 23 times.
Is the word AKBAR used in relation to God? The answer is YES; e.g.
(A) The Shahada of God is "Akbar ", 6:19
(B) God's approval is "Akbar", 9:72
(C) God's abhorrence is "Akbar", 40:10
(D) God's punishment is "Akbar" 88:24
(E) Remembrance of God is "Akbar". 29:45
(F) 6:78 and 29:45 are very important and are discussed separately.
The remaining use of the word AKBAR is not for God .
IN OTHER WORDS: GOD DID NOT SEE IT INAPPROPRIATE TO DESCRIBE HIS
QUALITIES AS BEING AKBAR, but the new hadithists do. They think they are
more careful than God.
Likewise, both the names, "KABEER", "AL-KABEER" and "AL-MUTAKABBER" are used
for God and ALSO for other than God.
God used the words AKBAR, KABEER, AL-KABEER and AL-MUTAKABBER in relation
to Himself and to others. It is naive to disregard the word Akbar because
it was used for other than God. If you do, so you might as well discard many
of the most beautiful names including Kabeer and Al-kabeer .
3- The word "Kabeer" is mentioned in the Quran 28 times, of these "Kabeeran"
is 17 times and "Kabeer" is 11 times. "Al-Kabeer" is mentioned in the Quran
8 times, "Mutakabber" two times and "Al-Mutakabber" one time.
Many of these names are used in reference to other than God, e.g. sin,
corruption, fight, punishment, victory...etc. It is interesting to note that
God is described as "KABEER" without "AL" in 4:34.
The word "Al-Kabeer" is used 8 times in the whole Quran. Of these 8 Al-Kabeer,
ONLY 5 refer to God as Al -Kabeer and the other three refer to victory and
blessings of God. The so claimed "new information" by Ali Fazley that the
other three "Al-Kabeer" also refer to God (not to his blessings, or victory) only shows complete
misunderstanding of the Arabic language and the verses in mention.
4- About verse 6:78.
[6:78]
"When he (Abraham) saw the sun rising, he
said, "This must be my Lord. This is the BIGGEST" ("AKBAR"). But when it set,
he said, "O my people, I denounce your idolatry."
When Abraham was looking for God, he was looking for THE GOD who is "AKBAR".
When he saw that the sun was up, he thought since it was "Akbar" than the
moon, it could be God. I have no problem thinking of Abraham spending days
or months searching for God with ONE thought on his mind, GOD IS AKBAR, or
Allahu Akbar. God does not give us the story of Abraham only for pure amusement.
The lesson from the Quran is clear. The implication here is that Abraham
knew that God has to be "AKBAR" and the connection between God , AKBAR and
Abraham who received our Salat-prayers cannot be passed unnoticed.
"....... THIS MUST BE MY LORD, THIS IS
AKBAR..."
Again the connection that God is teaching us in the Quran between God and
Akbar cannot be missed.
5- 29:45 is talking about Salat and mentions that the remembrance of God
is "AKBAR". This is the one of two places in the Quran where the two words,
Allahu and Akbar are next to each other although "Akbar" is used for the
remembrance of God. The relation of this verse to the salat has its own
significance. The presence of Allahu and Akbar next to each other is not
coincidental or unintentionally placed. God does not have coincidence.
6- The critics of "Allahu Akbar" claim that AKBAR is comparing God to someone
else. As I said before it is the confused people who are thinking of comparing
God to someone else. Since we never use the Arabic word "min" (than in English)
after "Akbar" then the word "Akbar" is superlative in this expression. If
you do not want to get confused with the Arabic grammar, just compare the
use of similar words for God in the Quran. God used similar expressions like
"AKBAR" for himself repeatedly in the Quran.
When God talked about Himself being Akram (Most Bountiful), Arham (most
Merciful), Ahsan (the best..), Ahaqq (most worthy).....etc., He was not comparing
Himself with someone else. The comparison is in the mind of the beholder.
ONLY the disbelievers think of God as an entity to be compared to something
else.
7- It is interesting to note that the advocate of using "Allahu Al-Kabeer"
had no explanation why they are using this one out of over one hundred names
in the Quran.
8-We have the option to follow the clear order in the Quran to "Kabber God
Takbeera" with Allahu Akbar or to reject the Quran and follow the newly invented
hadith and reject Allahu Akbar.
9-As long as there is some people who submit to God alone and follow His
Quran, Satan will always lure the people into making their own Golden Calf.
10- In conclusion, Allahu Akbar is Quranic in every aspect and is the way
Salat was passed to us from Abraham all the way down and including the correction
made by the messenger of the covenant to our Salat.
